Featured in the Austin Business Journal after winning top Custom Home Builder honors, Debi Schoenfelt of Corias Homes, Inc. receives further recognition for her unique approach to home building, and as her daughter, I am also mentioned in the article.
At 5 feet, 4 inches – and three-quarters – Debi Schoenfelt’s soft-spoken manner belies her passion for the beautiful and artistic.
The president and director of Corias Homes — named after her two children, Corbett and Aria — Schoenfelt talks passionately about her love of all things art.
“I’ve always enjoyed art. I’ve always enjoyed architecture,” she said, yet she began with a degree in public health and wanted to be a veterinarian when she grew up.
Her foray into the construction world began with her own home. Schoenfelt was compelled to help others achieve their dream and has been doing so ever since.

Congratulations to
After using her degree in Microbiology as a Virologist for years, Debi Schoenfelt found her calling in Austin’s custom building industry when she and husband, Keith Schoenfelt, built their first home with their own sweat and blood with the deadline of the birth of their first child looming. Debi never returned to Virology, instead she embarked on her American dream with a passion for a quality product and happy client that would lead to a lifetime of referral business. When the petite mother of two is not playing with the big boys in Austin’s luxury custom home building market dressed in high heals with a Pomeranian under her arm, you can find her blissfully riding her road bike through the hill country. Debi maintains a quality over quantity business model both in regards to the product and customer relationships, and has even inspired her family to join her on her quest to build the best homes in Austin.
